Nordic Lodge sits on 2.4 acres of deeded land near Southend, on the south shore of Reindeer Lake — one of the most productive fisheries on the continent. This is a drive-in operation, accessible by Highway 102, which eliminates the floatplane charters and off-grid logistics that define most comparable lodges. On-grid power keeps overhead predictable and the guest experience seamless.

Twelve well-appointed guest cabins, a main lodge, and a robust base of infrastructure and equipment make this a turn-key operation with a proven track record. The current owners have built a business with depth — world-class fishing, an established bear hunting program, and outfitter rights to additional lakes — and the drive-in location opens the door to self-catered guests, a market most fly-in operations simply can't serve.

Nordic is profitable in its current form. But the combination of road access, on-grid power, 12 cabins, and a Class 1 fishery leaves significant room for a new owner to grow revenues, extend the season, and develop new revenue streams.

Reindeer Lake is the 9th largest lake in North America and the 22nd largest in the world — nearly 2 million fishable acres, over 5,500 islands, and 5,700 miles of shoreline. Its clear, deep waters sit on the northern edge of the Canadian boreal forest, straddling the Saskatchewan-Manitoba border. The diversity of bays, channels, and island structure gives fish limitless habitat and anglers endless water to explore.

It is designated a Class 1 Catch and Release Lake — the largest of its classification in Saskatchewan — a regulatory designation that protects the fishery's long-term quality. The prime species are Lake Trout, Northern Pike, Walleye, and Arctic Grayling, alongside Lake Whitefish, Burbot, and Perch. Deep Bay, located at the south end of the lake, is one of the world's largest ancient meteorite craters — over 220 meters deep and roughly 13 km across — and remains cold long after summer heat pushes trout beyond reach in other parts of the lake. It is one of Nordic's signature Lake Trout destinations.

Access is via Highway 102, which terminates at Southend at the lake's south end. On June 21st, guests experience 21 hours of daylight — productive fishing days that go well beyond what most southern anglers are used to.

Nordic Lodge operates one of the most well-established bear hunting programs in northern Saskatchewan. The lodge receives 50 bear tags annually and elects to accommodate 32 hunters per season — already pre-sold for 2025. Big boars, including colour phase bears, are consistently taken here. Hunting options include water-based approach, elevated stands, and ground blinds, with operations run out of a dedicated wall tent camp.

The combination of trophy bear hunting and world-class fishing on the same trip is a genuine differentiator. Clients love it, and the repeat rate reflects that. The program has been carefully developed over the years and transfers to a new owner as a fully operational, revenue-generating season.

Most cabins include full bathrooms with showers, fully equipped kitchens, and comfortable furnishings — all linens and bedding provided.
