What is Frontier Hospitality Advisor?
Frontier Hospitality Advisor is a hospitality real estate platform for buying, selling and appraising fishing lodges, wilderness resorts, hotels, motels and RV parks. It combines a for-sale listings marketplace, a monthly market newsletter sent to 3,200+ subscribers, and an AACI appraisal practice. It has operated since 2016 and is based in Penticton, British Columbia.
How much does it cost to list a property for sale?
A 12-month public listing is $349 CAD and a newsletter-only listing is $149 CAD, taxes included. Both are flat fees with no commission. Listings are open to private sellers and licensed real estate agents.
Who completes the appraisals?
Appraisals are completed by Bryce Witherspoon, BA, AACI, P.App, a designated member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada. All appraisals follow the Canadian Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (CUSPAP).
What types of appraisals do you complete?
Going-concern market value appraisals and insurance replacement cost appraisals for fishing lodges, hunting camps, wilderness resorts, fly-in operations, RV parks, hotels and motels. Common purposes include financing, estate planning, CRA, litigation, expropriation and sale.
Where do you complete appraisals?
British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario, Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. The listings marketplace is open to properties across North America.
