HORSEBACK RIDING
Our ranch is home to a dozen horses. Their year-round pasture lies between the Lodge and Williston Lake.
Having you ever dreamed of living the life of a cowboy or cowgirl? Would you like to explore untouched wilderness from the back of a horse? We offer everything from half-day rides to day expeditions, all led by experienced guides.
From greenhorn to old cowpoke, we offer something for everybody. Don’t worry if your only experience with horses comes from Black Stallion books. We offer instruction allowing you to safely enjoy any of our expeditions.
FISHING
The rivers and lakes of Peace River valley abound with rainbow trout, lake trout, kokanee, dolly warden, and northern pike.

THE LODGE
Williston Lake Resort is a traditionally styled log cabin. It’s hand hewn pine logs showcase the wood’s natural beauty. It is built from Pioneer Log Homes (TV show, TIMBER KINGS). The Lodge could be considered both a feat of engineering and a work of art. The great room, with its cozy stone fireplace, is the perfect place to relax after an active day. Perhaps you will enjoy a drink at the hand-crafted bar. Our restaurant offers memorable dinners in an intimate atmosphere.

SUN DECK
The sun drenched deck offers a breathtaking view of Williston Lake and Mount Gething.
ROOMS / SUITES
In one of her six standards and three Economy rooms, in one of two suites -The junior suite and The Family suite which are bright and comfortable you will feel immediately at home. All rooms are furnished tastefully and the standard comfort of High speed Internet access, which is free.
All suites are equipped, in addition, with a Jacuzzi bathtub as well as a comfortable living-room furniture.
Land & Location
Our region is the Canada richest in game and wildlife. The untouched nature around the Lodge offers living space for white head eagle and osprey, beaver, Wapiti Elk, white tail deer, mule deer, coyotes, wolves, moose, black, brown and grizzly bear.
Here you can watch all these animals far away from which also in Canada observe starting mass tourism, in their natural surrounding area.
Directly in front of our Lodge mule deer, whitetail deer wapiti elk and moose quiet often graze peacefully. You will experience amazing moments, full of peace.
Hudson’s Hope is named after Canada’s oldest company, the Hudson’s Bay Company. HBC fur traders were the first Europeans to explore western Canada and meet its Native Peoples.
For a wider range of services, Fort St. John is a 1.5 hour drive from the Resort. It has major supermarkets, department stores, and a full service airport. Be sure not to miss the indoor swimming pool and its water slides. Fun for young and old alike.
