Our main activity is renting cabins and the Restaurant. In the summer we also offer motorboat and canoe rentals as well as 5 RV / tent spots lakefront. Our clientele is mainly from Canada, but we have a good percentage of customers coming from the US, Europe and the rest of the world.
Fishing is the main activity, even though in the summer, due to our central location in BC, we host many family reunions and weddings. Lots of activities are available in the area, such as horseback riding, hiking, biking in the summer and snowmobiling, X-country skiing and ice fishing in the winter. Our local community is very active and offer many year round activities which make living up here fun and entertaining. The outdoors and the freedom are amazing as well as the usual daily encounters with moose, deer, bears and eagles.
As above mentioned, Lac Des Roches Resort is developed on only 8 acres of the total property of almost 39. The undeveloped 30 acres with lake view and separate direct access from Highway 24, give space to lots of possibilities. They could be subdivided and / or rezoned, they could be used to expand the resort with more units or RV sites, they could be used to keep horses and all the equipment if somebody wants to turn it into a guest ranch or they can be used for a light industrial activity.
